Chapter 772

Philip was discussing something with his group. He had someone invite Celeste and Matthias over after not seeing them around.

Philip smiled while looking at the two of them. “What have you two been up to? Got a moment to chat with us?”

Matthias returned the smile politely. “Of course.”

His gaze swept over Trevor and Wynn as he spoke, and the corner of his mouth twitched almost imperceptibly.

Celeste naturally noticed Trevor and Wynn as well, but her expression remained unchanged.

Trevor gave the two of them a slight nod in greeting when Matthias looked over.

It made Matthias’s smile stiffen as he forced a courteous nod in return.

Philip knew Trevor had been married before, but he had no idea who his wife had been. After all, he spent most of his time overseas and rarely came to Baumond.

He immediately sensed the distance between Matthias and Trevor as he watched them exchange greetings. However, he didn’t think much of it. He simply found it amusing.

“I heard YodaVision and Fleming Group have been working together for quite some time. So why do you two young geniuses seem like complete strangers?”

In his eyes, both Matthias and Trevor were gifted figures in the Al field and about the same age. Even if they didn’t become close friends, they certainly shouldn’t be this unfamiliar with each other.

The others hadn’t been paying much attention to their relationship before. But after Philip pointed it out, they all realized that Trevor and Matthias really did seem to have very little interaction.

Matthias glanced at Trevor, an unreadable look flashing through his eyes before he gave an awkward chuckle.

“It’s true that both companies have been collaborating for quite a while. But most of the time, we work directly with their engineering teams. We rarely get the chance to meet Mr. Fleming in person, so…”

Trevor simply smiled after hearing that, as if he were agreeing with Matthias’s explanation.

“I see.” Philip nodded in understanding.

Neither Celeste nor Wynn said a word.

Celeste didn’t look at either Trevor or Wynn. However, Wynn tensed up the moment

Celeste and Matthias approached their group earlier.

She tightened her grip on her wineglass as she looked at Celeste.

Although Philip wasn’t particularly impressed with Wynn and had no intention of taking her on as his personal student, he had never. deliberately compared her with Celeste, who had always been his ideal candidate.

But now that they were standing side by side, he paused and instinctively glanced at Trevor.

No one thought much of it when Wynn was by herself. But with Celeste now standing beside her, everyone unconsciously began comparing the two.

As far as appearance went, both women were strikingly beautiful. So, it came down to personal preference on which one was prettier But, when it came to their capabilities in AT…..

Although Wynn was also a PhD graduate from a prestigious university, her

capabilities in the real world seemed to fall well short of Celeste’s. After all…

Meanwhile, Jorge, Xavier, and Caleb were also keeping an eye on what was happening over at Philip’s group.

Just then, someone walked over to them. “Mr. Robinson, Mr. Jennings…”

The moment Xavier noticed the middle-aged man had brought along a young, attractive woman, he immediately understood why they had come.

After all, this was already the fifth.. sixth… maybe even the seventh o eighth father who had shown up tonight, hoping to introduce his daughter and turn either Jorge or Caleb into a future son-in-law.

Xavier was already engaged. So, he had been holding back laughter the entire evening as he watched the endless parade of matchmaking attempts.
