So, the only reason Beck could think of for his appearance tonight was that Caleb knew Celeste would be here.

They both calmly looked away after that brief exchange.

Caleb wasn’t particularly close to Trevor or Wynn. With Narcissa also present, he had even less reason to linger around the group.

He politely said to Trevor and Miles, “I’m going to say hello to a few friends. We’ll chat later if there’s time.”
