Trevor didn’t have time to accompany Jordyn , but he could spend time with Wynn ?
Before Celeste could say anything , Jordyn spoke again , “ Men , I wish you had called earlier . If you had called earlier , I could have shown you a video from the helicopter
Celeste could tell that Jordyn was very pleased with Trevor’s arrangements this time .
For a moment , Celeste didn’t know what to say . But she couldn’t shake the heavy feeling of frustration growing in her chest .
Jordyn continued talking about her plans for the next day and mentioned that she would be returning to the country that evening .
Celeste listened , and before she could respond , Jordyn suddenly asked eagerly , “ Mom , do you have time tomorrow ? I want to call you again . ”
Celeste snapped back to reality , and after two seconds , she replied , “ I have time tomorrow . ”

Knowing that Jordyn was already on her way back to the hotel , Celeste felt a lot more at ease . After chatting for a Hittle while longer , she ended the video call .
At this point , it was time for her to meet with Jamie and the others to go rafting , so she put her phone away .
She had originally been looking forward to the holiday outing . But now , she felt utterly drained .
Still , she didn’t want to ruin the fun for Jamie and the others , so she went with them .
When they arrived at their destination and were in line , someone suddenly tapped her on the shoulder .
Celeste turned around .
It was Kieran .
Kieran had asked her earlier if she was spending the holiday with her family , and when she mentioned rafting , he seemed very interested , so he had specifically come over .
She had known he was keen on the idea of rafting . So , seeing him here now wasn’t surprising . Celeste just asked , ‘ When did you get here? ”

Celeste dressed formally when she went to work . But now , she was out without makeup , wearing a simple sleeveless top and casual pants , with flip – flops on her feet
The sun was just right today , shining on her face and arms , making her look even more radiant .
Compared to her usual formal office look , she now had a softer , sweeter , and even more stunning presence .

Around them , both men and women couldn’t help but glance in her direction . Kieran couldn’t take his eyes off her as well .

Kieran himself was also very handsome . He was a few years younger than Celeste and dressed in a T – shirt , shorts , and flip – flops , looking fresh and clean , like a college student .

After she left , Kieran’s friend came over , “ I have to say , this Ms. Rodriguez is really beautiful . She looks even more stunning than she did at the banquet . “ ‘
