Ellie squeezed her eyes shut, a headache beginning to form.
These options weren’t ideal.
Frank was Erick’s cousin, completely under Erick’s influence. Theo, on the other hand, was Edwin’s older brother and the heir to the Stephens family.
Erick must have tipped off Frank. If Erick wasn’t on board, Frank wouldn’t lift a finger for Cecelia.
As for Theo, he was a top-notch brain surgeon. Ellie trusted his skills more.
