Chapter 416
Chapter 416:
“Um… No, just do as I say p>
She hadn’t stolen Carole’s business.
But Carole was probably of the opinion that Ellie had stolen her man.
Come on, Kaiden was undeniably her man now, both legally and physically!
The end of the grand show ushered in a small party, exclusively attended by a select group of top-tier clients and elite media figures.
In the preceding two to three years, attendees of the show generally adopted a cautious, wait-and-see approach. However, today marked a departure from that trend, with numerous guests placing orders, unequivocally affirming the success of the show.
Upon Jonah’s entrance to the party, he overheard guests and media personnel showering praise on the show, prompting a relieved and contented smile.
Choosing Ellie, an up-and-coming stylist, had been the correct decision. Simultaneously, the jewelry accessories worn by the models became a central topic of discussion.
“Is it just me, or do the jewels featured by Light today resemble auction pieces from a few years ago p>
“If you’re questioning your sight, so am I p>
“Weren’t we informed that Light was partnering with jewelry designer Carole for this event p>
“Light went as far as utilizing collector’s jewels? That’s a big move p>
“Goodness gracious! It’s akin to a private collection exhibition, not merely a showcase! We’ve struck gold just by being present here p>
Upon hearing these remarks, Jonah couldn’t shake off his thoughts. They should have considered charging an admission fee!
“Director Jonah!” Someone soon approached him. “Could you enlighten us about your jewelry collaboration partner? My company is organizing a charity jewelry exhibition later this year, and we’re interested in partnering with the owners of these exquisite jewels p>
The person wore an enthusiastic smile, hoping for Light to facilitate the connection.

Jonah, feeling a sense of pride in having a powerful friend like Ellie, responded, “I’m sorry, but these jewels were borrowed by our stylist, Ellie. Even here at Light, we are not privy to the identity of the owner p>
“Yes, she was the pianist who took the stage today. I wonder if you noticed her performance p>
The individual was left momentarily speechless. He was equally perplexed.
The jewelry supplier they were inquiring about turned out to be the same person who worked as a pianist and stylist for Light?
Witnessing the person’s confused expression, Jonah experienced an odd sense of equilibrium.
While speculations circulated about why Light’s jewelry partner transitioned from Carole’s designs to collector’s jewels, ‘insider news’ revealed something.
Light’s original independent jewelry designer had abruptly breached the contract! In a desperate move, Light had to activate a backup plan and resort to using collector’s jewels.
Industry peers scoffed at the idea of the move being out of desperation.
Ellie returned to her hotel, unaware of these developments, and slept soundly.
