Ellie raised an eyebrow, startled.
“Sorry, I need to take this call,” she apologized, noticing a call from Kaiden.
“Hello… Didn’t I tell you I had things to handle in school? You don’t need to pick me up. I’ll take a taxi… I’ll text you my location.” Ellie sighed.

Her previous purchases were all high-end sports cars, each costing millions. These seemed out of place for campus driving.
Thirty minutes later, Howard escorted Ellie outside.
Outside the bubble tea shop, a Bentley MPV was waiting.
Ellie bid Howard farewell, then slipped into the backseat of the car.
As the door opened, Howard caught a glimpse of the passenger inside. The man had thin eyebrows and piercing eyes. His handsome features were set in a stern expression, and he exuded a powerful vibe. His gaze on Howard was sharp and intimidating.
Howard sensed he was just an inexperienced eagle in this guy’s presence. The powerful rival gave him nothing but a warning look and showed him disrespect, as if Howard would meet his end if he had any intentions towards his woman.
As soon as Ellie entered the car, the man wrapped his arms around her neck and gave her a brief kiss on the lips.
It looked like he was proclaiming himself as her man.
