“Baylee, keep your heart. I have no intention of coercing it from you,” he assured her. “Nor will I impose upon your body.” He knew she had been wounded by Quincy.
Reflecting on this, Marvin’s eyes briefly betrayed a piercing intensity.

Their eagerness wasn’t just about working overtime; it was because Kaiden seemed in high spirits that morning. They were keen to address the company’s issues while he was in a favorable mood, hoping to avoid harsh criticism.
“You can go back to the company. I’ll head back on my own,” Ellie suggested when she saw the situation unfold.
But Kaiden grasped her hand, unwilling to let her leave. “Come with me p>
Their relationship had just been mended, and Kaiden wasn’t ready to let her out of his sight.
“But you’re heading to work. I shouldn’t be there,” Ellie said, reluctant to accompany him.
The brand department’s director, quick to notice, spotted the ring on Ellie’s finger and immediately chimed in, “Mrs. Thorpe, it’s perfectly fine for you to go there p>
