Chapter 621
“No, thanks,” Ellie replied, a bit taken aback.
“That’s Kristopher’s private yacht. He’s been having some health issues, so he’s got a medical team with him, including a top-notch heart surgeon!” a crew member chimed in, offering some context.
Everyone around expressed their amazement.
“Who is Kristopher? I’ve never come across this photographer before,” Tobias inquired with keen interest.
“He’s a friend of the director. He may not be well-known, but his work speaks for itself.”
At that, Carole pondered to herself.
It appeared that Kristopher and Ellie shared a unique connection…
Ellie and Baylee ended up on the same yacht.
As Baylee gazed out at the endless sea, a thought struck her.
She asked, “El, don’t you own an island somewhere around here?”
Ellie thought for a moment. “Yeah.”
Two years ago, Garfield Barton, the head of the Rich Private Foundation, couldn’t find any good lots at the auction, so he ended up buying Ellie an island, thinking it would be a great spot for her to take a vacation.
Since Ellie was too busy to take a holiday, they transformed the island into a private resort instead.
Baylee inquired, “What’s the name of the place?”
“I’ll have to check the emails.”
After some searching, Ellie discovered the name and told Baylee, “Dreamboat Island.”
The yacht was moored by the shore.
Elegant letters at the dock spelled out the name of the private island. It was Dreamboat.
Baylee was at a loss for words.
Ellie was equally taken aback. She was speechless.
What a coincidence!
“Carole, your family really thinks of everything. There’s coffee and juice waiting on the yacht,” someone complimented Carole as soon as they got off.
Ellie and Baylee exchanged puzzled glances.
Why did everyone else get coffee and juice, yet there were premium teas and a 1982 Lafite for them?
And the yacht’s crew… They treated Ellie with exceptional courtesy.
Ellie tucked away her questions for later investigation.
The entire island was decorated in a whimsical, romantic style, with every detail meticulously planned.
The island boasted lush tropical rainforests, abundant fruits, well-built structures, pristine white beaches, and lush tropical rainforests that seemed straight out of a fairy tale.
