Chapter 477
Chapter 477:
Unable to endure the silence any longer, Ellie broke the stalemate. “Did you want to talk about something? Mr. Thorpe, are you here to see me because p>
“I missed you,” Kaiden interrupted, his words hanging in the air.
Ellie’s previously indifferent expression froze in an instant.
She stared at Kaiden in utter astonishment, her initial doubt regarding her ears giving way to a feeling of disbelief. The clouds of uncertainty that had lingered in her heart began to disperse uncontrollably, revealing a glimmer of something she hadn’t expected.
To think that a single sentence could hold such power, swaying her emotions between happiness and sorrow.
“I came here because I wanted to see you,” Kaiden continued, his voice tinged with an undercurrent of restrained emotion.
He entered her dormitory uninvited, striding in with an imposing presence that emanated a sense of both dominance and danger. Ellie instinctively stepped back, the echo of his “I missed you” still ringing in her mind.
She couldn’t help but wonder if he was out of his mind.
Why would he say those affectionate words out of the blue?
Ellie’s retreat was halted by the wall, leaving her with no escape as Kaiden closed the distance between them in an instant.
Without giving her a chance to resist, a passionate kiss descended upon her.
Initially, Kaiden’s anger had been directed towards Howard.
However, during his time at the hospital, his thoughts had been consumed by the information he had uncovered about Ellie’s childhood. He had an overwhelming desire to see her, to touch her, to assure himself of her safety and find peace within himself.
As soon as Brisa woke up and her condition stabilized, Kaiden wasted no time and rushed over to Ellie’s location.
The cool breeze of the spring night wafted in through the door as he gently lifted Ellie off the floor, playfully tossing her upward before catching her by the hips.
Their lips met in a passionate kiss as he carried her toward the door, whispering her name almost inaudibly.

Ellie’s protest was silenced as their lips locked once again. The documentary continued playing in the background, its melodious and joyful music setting the perfect mood for the night.
Pajamas were the easiest clothes to peel off, and Kaiden seemed quite satisfied as he buried his face in Ellie’s neck, inhaling deeply. The scent of her shower gel was unfamiliar to him, and he found himself preferring the one at home, as it made him feel possessive of her.
