Chapter 262
Chapter 262:
Returning ten minutes later, Bruce’s face was flushed with embarrassment. “Mr. Thorpe, Mrs. Thorpe is tied up with work tonight and can’t make it p>
Kaiden looked up, his gaze sharp.

He knew Ellie didn’t have any obligations at the GT Group that evening. It was just her way of avoiding the situation.
“Call her again,” Kaiden ordered through clenched teeth, trying to restrain his irritation. “Stay here and call her p>
Cautiously, Bruce dialed Ellie’s number once more.
He switched the phone to speaker mode, and Ellie’s voice filled the room.
“Hello, Bruce. Is there something else p>

The man’s complexion was ashen, with blood running from his short black hair down to his forehead. He wore a black trench coat, the source of the bloody scent. Drops of blood had fallen from the coat’s edge onto the carpet, leaving red stains.
“Oh my God! What happened here?” Ellie exclaimed in shock, quickly closing the door. “Did you accidentally hurt him p>
“I didn’t,” Baylee responded immediately.
Ellie let out a sigh of relief, but as she looked at the man’s face, a realization struck her. “Wait, isn’t that Marvin Hill p>
