Chapter 221
Chapter 221:
“It seems Ellie and Mr. Thorpe are acquainted. But when Mr. Thorpe arrived this afternoon, I heard Ellie introduce herself to him p>
“Could Ellie have offended Mr. Thorpe p>
Ellie searched for Kaiden after leaving the private room, but she couldn’t find him.
To her surprise, he had quickly moved his wheelchair.

Gathering her courage, Ellie finally locked eyes with Kaiden.
“Joseph specifically asked me to change into more appropriate attire to entertain you tonight. As you’ve witnessed, he practically wanted to adorn me with a bow and present me to you. Kaiden, we both understand that you might encounter many such women in the future.” The world was full of temptation.
“So, I don’t want to start haggling with you from the beginning when I know I can’t win. It’s important for me to set my mindset and position straight from the outset,” Ellie clarified.
