composed. He maintained his cold, impassive demeanor, glancing at him briefly before turning his attention back to his computer.

When he told Hannah about the bugged conversation, he never expected Sandra to keep that secret.

He had gone to see her today and warned her that if she didn’t behave, he would take action. In response, Sandra immediately brought up the incident from three years ago to threaten him.
