Chapter 795

If she had known this was all he wanted to talk about, she would have just asked

him to tell her over the phone. There was no need to meet in person. The

atmosphere was just too strange.

“Hannah?”

Quennel called out tentatively.

Hannah slowly looked up at him and hummed in question.

“Hannah?”

“That’s it.”

After calling her name several more times with no response, Quennel finally let out a sigh of relief and sent a text message.

Two minutes later, Marcus Hale entered through a small side door.

The private room actually had a smaller, adjoining room where Marcus Hale had been waiting, observing the situation through a small window. He only came out after receiving Quennel’s message.

“Mr. Hale, I’ll leave the rest to you,” Quennel said, standing up.

“Just stand aside and watch. In half an hour, when this woman named Hannah wakes up, the man she’s been madly in love with will be you. In her mind, she was forced to marry Lionel, while you were the one she couldn’t have.”

“Hannah, I’ll ask you one more time. Who is the man you love most?” Marcus Hale stood up, moved behind her and placed his hands on her shoulders, asking sternly,Think carefully before you answer me.”
