“If Lionel hadn’t confessed, we would have never discovered his partnership with Cherry,” Elder Yong was the first to speak.

This was something they truly hadn’t anticipated.

Mr. Michael Rosenberg replied, “I’m thinking the same thing. Lionel has done so many foolish things in the past that when this happened it was hard not to suspect him.

“Then could it be Quennel and his mother? What could their motive possibly be?”

Quennel, so why would he get involved? He grew up in the Rosenberg family, he can’t be ignorant of the consequences of such an act!”

Mr. Edward Rosenberg thought it over carefully, but he couldn’t come up with any benefit for Quennel to do something like this.

As for his mother, her involvement was even less likely. Any action she took would only cast suspicion back onto Quennel.
