Quennel stared at the disconnected call, not a trace of anger on his face. Instead, he simply smiled, put down his phone, and looked at his assistant who had just walked in. “Did you find the person I asked you to look for?”

The assistant nodded. “Sir, we found

him and extended your invitation. He’s currently staying at the residence we arranged and said you can meet with him tomorrow 16 discuss the details of what needs to done.”

Even though Hannah had mistakenly married Lionel three years ago, those three

years had at least shown her what kind of person he truly was.
