“If anyone’s going to be blamed, it’ll be the person who told you, not you. After all, how would you have known if they hadn’t leaked it? Or did you just make this whole thing up?”

Cherry’s relationship with this friend was mediocre at best, especially since the woman had made several backhanded comments to her face after Hannah’s return.

The gist of it was that Cherry was finished now that Hannah was back, that her status would be usurped, and that her good days were over.

Little did they know that she and Hannah were actually on pretty good terms now. So, when this person sent her the message, Cherry was secretly thrilled.

She could post it online, and the Rosenberg family would track down this person to find out who leaked the information.

Once they discovered it was Quennel, he would be punished by the Rosenbergs and would surely come after this informant. That way, Cherry could get rid of an annoyance without lifting a finger!

Quennel’s move was brilliant; he was helping her take care of someone she disliked.

“I don’t care. You need to delete that post right now. Do you hear me?”

The person on the other end of the line was rambling nonstop, finally screaming hysterically.

“Did I give you permission to post our chat history? Are you insane? You post everything online, don’t you? You just love showing off, is that it?”

They continued to berate Cherry, desperate for her to delete the post. If she left it up, it was only a matter of time before they traced it back to them, and then they’d be done for.

They were already in the middle of buying a plane ticket to flee the country. They had to get out and hide, otherwise, when Quennel came looking for them, they would have no excuse.

However, in the face of their frantic shouting, Cherry remained unfazed. She shot back a few insults and hung up the phone.

“What’s the point of deleting it now?

It’s already been shared so many

times, and people have already saved screenshots. Deleting it now would just be asking for more trouble.”

Cherry then blocked all of them, saving herself the hassle of them calling one by one to question her.

Cherry sat happily on the sofa, scrolling through the trending topics on her phone. Seeing how her paid commenters had successfully derailed the conversation, she couldn’t have been more pleased.

The three elders had learned about the trending topic immediately. They gathered in the main hall and had already sent for Quennel, Lionel, and Mrs. Mary Rosenberg.

Only a few people were present that day. If the matter had been leaked, it could only have been one of those three!

All the servants had been dismissed and were nowhere near the second floor.

Unless one of them had nothing better to do than to go and review the security footage!

Half an hour later, the three of them arrived at the estate one by one.

Lionel was, as usual, the last to arrive, his posture just as arrogant as it had been before.

This time, however, he offered a polite greeting to the three elders before taking a seat.

“Who was responsible for this? If you step forward and admit it now, I can let it slide. But if I have to find out myself, don’t blame me for being merciless!”
