He couldn’t deny it; Quennel was right. Sandra had lied to him and framed others countless times to protect herself.
Even now, he couldn’t be certain whether what she was saying was the truth or another lie.
He had photos, but a few pictures alone couldn’t prove anything. Just as Quennel suspected, it was entirely possible that Sandra was using them to twist the truth once again.
Seeing Lionel’s silence, Quennel let out a cold laugh and continued, “If you’re so convinced I did it, then go tell Hannah. If she believes you, I’ll apologize to her p>
Quennel’s eyes narrowed slightly. “But if I’m not mistaken, you’ve already told her, haven’t you? And she couldn’t care less. Right now, there’s only one thing on her mind: divorcing you. Everything else is just noise to her p>
The moment his bluff was called, Lionel was speechless, gritting his teeth in silent fury.
Quennel knew it well: however deep Hannah’s love had once been, her hatred was now just as profound.
And she was determined to leave it all behind. He had guessed as much, which was why he wasn’t the least bit worried about this affair being exposed.
“Lionel, let me guess,” Quennel said, his gaze dropping to the left pocket of Lionel’s jacket. “You found out about this and couldn’t wait to tell Hannah. But she didn’t believe you, so you came to me, hoping to squeeze some useful information out of me to prove your case p>
He smirked. “And you have a recording device in your pocket right now, just waiting for me to admit it, don’t you p>
His mocking words hit their mark. As his entire plan was exposed once again, Lionel’s face darkened, and he glared at Quennel with raw hatred.
“What? Did guess right again? You wear everything on your face; you’re ridiculously easy to read. Get out. Don’t stand here and get in the way of my work don’t have time to waste on you p>
Just as Quennel finished speaking, a servant entered the study, approached Lionel,
and made a polite but firm gesture for him to leave.
“Quennel, I know you had something to do with this. Don’t think that just because time has passed, I can’t find proof bet Sandra has more evidence and you cant be sure’ll get it. You just wait. Sooner or later, I’ll make Hannah see your true colors p>
“I look forward to the day you expose everything. I truly hope the outcome is everything you wish for p>
After Lionel left, Quennel’s scornful, mocking expression vanished. Frowning, his face now serious, he picked up his phone and dialed Sandra.

Sandra was holed up in a rundown apartment building in a remote part of the city.
When she saw the incoming call, she hesitated for a few seconds before answering.
“Quennel. figured you’d call, but!
didn’t think it would be this soon t seems you know I told them. And I have other evidence. If you don’t
want me to give it to Lionel you’re going to have to cooperate with me p>
Sandra felt a surge of relief. Thank God she had kept an ace up her sleeve back
then. Otherwise, she’d have no leverage to negotiate with Quennel now.
