When Mary returned home, she found Lionel wandering around the house, tapping on walls and fiddling with various antiques, looking for who-knows-what.
The servants saw his strange behavior and kept their distance, thinking he looked like he was possessed.
“What are you looking for? If you need something, can’t you just ask a servant to find it for you? You’ve been back with the Rosenberg family for years and you still have no manners. “So you’re implying that Sandra is missing, and that I’ve hidden her p>
Hearing his mother misunderstand, Lionel quickly clarified, “That’s not what I mean, Mom. I think Quennel has her hidden away p>
Mary’s mouth twitched. “What’s the
difference between him hiding her
and me hiding her? He’s my son. You’re accusing both of us. Lionel, I suggest you watch yourself. You Just offended Hannah, and now you’re coming after us. Are you trying to alienate everyone around you p>
“Or maybe you’ve decided you don’t want to be part of the Rosenberg family anymore, and you want me to find a legal reason to disown you so you and Sandra can run off and live happily ever after p>
