Quennel watched Sandra, his expression pensive.
He’d always known her sweet demeanor was a facade, but he hadn’t realized the true extent of her wickedness. To approach him so brazenly with such a plan… she must have been absolutely certain he would agree. Otherwise, she never would have dared.

Quennel had agreed to the deal, but he never anticipated what happened next. According to the plan, Hannah was supposed to end up in his room, but somehow, she’d gone to Lionel’s instead.
The next morning, a swarm of reporters ambushed them at the door, snapping pictures of them together. The scandal forced them into a relationship.
Hannah going to the wrong room had completely derailed their plan. In the aftermath, Sandra began to realize that Lionel wasn’t the worthless man she’d initially believed him to be.
That’s when her regret began to fester, prompting her to get close to Lionel again and try to tear them apart.

He couldn’t bear the thought of Hannah seeing his true colors. But it didn’t matter now. Sandra was cornered, her mind in chaos. In three hours, she’d arrive, and he would lock them both in the basement. Then this secret would die with them.
If she dared to plot against him, she had to be prepared to face the consequences.
