Lionel said nothing, just watched Quennel with an amused expression.

Seeing how ghastly his face had become, the corners of Lionel’s mouth couldn’t help but curve upward.

Ever since he married Hannah, Lionel had been telling her that Quennel was no good and that she should stay away from him.

Lionel also stood, his expression still fearless as he met Quennel’s gaze.

“Are you sure you want to take him for a check-up, or do you want to silence him for good?”
