Hearing Hannah’s words, Samuel couldn’t help but chuckle. He turned to Lionel’s messenger and said,
“You heard her, didn’t you? When you get back to Lionel, repeat every single word Hannah said to him. Tell him to take a good, hard look at himself. At a time like this, how dare he ask Hannah to go to him? He should be on his knees, crawling to her p>
Even now, the man still expected Hannah to go to him. It was no wonder she disliked him. A normal man in the middle of a divorce would be doing everything he could to be proactive.
But he kept saying such outrageous and idiotic things. It was no surprise Hannah couldn’t stand him.
The servant standing nearby froze for a few seconds before nodding quickly.
Mr. Rosenberg had only sent him to deliver a message asking his wife to come over. Since she refused, there was nothing he could do. He had said what he needed to say. He would just be a messenger and relay her response back to Mr. Rosenberg.
After leaving the house and getting into the car, he immediately called Lionel and relayed Hannah’s words verbatim.
After hearing the message, Lionel thought for a few seconds and then said, “Fine. Tell Hannah I’ll bring Sandra over tomorrow p>
“Mr. Rosenberg, I apologize, but it’s not that I won’t tell her. The Temple family staff already kicked me out. I don’t think I can get back in. Besides, Madam looked quite upset just now p>
In the few minutes he spoke with her, he felt that she was completely different from before. Now, a single glance from her was enough to fill him with fear.
He thought for a moment and couldn’t help but add a warning: “Mr. Rosenberg, 1 think if you want to see her, you should come sooner rather than later. She seems to be in a bad mood, and that young master of the Temple family was saying some unflattering things about you in front of her p>
Samuel’s words had been quite harsh, and he didn’t dare repeat them exactly, afraid that Lionel would get angry and take it out on him.
He was just an employee, earning salary for the most tiring, dirty, and painful work. He didn’t want to get caught in the crossfire.
Lionel considered asking him to go back in and tell Hannah how terrible Sandra’s condition was, but now he couldn’t get in. And even if he could, Hannah probably wouldn’t be Sympathetic.
After all, Hannah hated Sandra to the bone. The worse off Sandra was, the happier Hannah would be. So, there was no point in telling her any of that.
He hung up the phone and stood on the balcony, looking out at the scenery with a heavy sigh.
The doctor who had come earlier had given Sandra a preliminary examination and told him her condition was very serious and she needed to rest and recover properly.
If he took Sandra to see Hannah now, the bumpy ride would be the least of his worries. He was more concerned that the moment Hannah saw Sandra, she might lose control and attack her, causing further jury. If she accidentally killed her, things would be even worse.
But if he didn’t bring Sandra and went alone, nothing he said would have any credibility.
Lionel let out a long sigh, feeling trapped in an impossible situation.
