After giving her statement, Sandra went with her parents to the hospital for a full examination and was admitted.

Listening to her mother drone on and on, Sandra’s temper flared. “What do you want?” she snarled. “Just spit it out. Did you really think shedding a few tears for the police and calling me your daughter would make me go soft p>

When she’d heard her mother’s words earlier, Sandra realized for the first time just how hypocritical she was.

“I know what you’re after. You want to extort a huge sum from Lionel and keep it for yourself. Well, dream on.
