Sandra had been holding out a sliver of hope for what her father might say, but in the end, it was all about the money.
She sighed internally. “If you were the ones who called the police, you would have done it ages ago instead of dragging this out. Go on, try telling me you were the one who made the call. I’ll go straight to Lionel and see how he ‘takes care’ of you then p>
