Nash was completely unaware of what the children were afraid of. He followed them inside.
“The Big Bad Wolf is here!” A child called out warily as Nash entered.
Seeing this, the director immediately corrected, “There’s no Big Bad Wolf here, Mr. York is a good person. He’s given you so much to eat and wear, you should be grateful!” “Thank you, Mr. York!” The children were obedient and said in unison.
Nash had never been quite satisfied with this title. While they called him Mr. York, they also called Nina by her name, which made him seem a generation older than her.
