Chapter 465

Seeing his indifference, Sally called out, “Nash!”
However, Nash did not want to hear her words and he walked away with a cold expression.
Sally wanted to talk and patch things up with Nash. However, with Miranda crying and being bullied, she could not leave.
She could only go over to help Miranda up, saying, “Miranda, get up quickly, stop crying.”
Miranda was supported by Sally, burying her face in her arms. “Sally, am I too annoying? Everyone seems to dislike me!” she sobbed.
“No, no, I like you, everyone likes you,” Sally comforted her, patting her back.
Miranda continued to cry in Sally’s arms. In this state, even if she was at fault, she turned into a victim, and no one dared to say a word against her.
If it weren’t for the hospital and so many people around, Nina would have wanted to give Miranda a good beating, tearing off her mask to see how good she was at pretending.
Of course, she knew that no matter how much of it was true or false, Sally would still defend her. The relationship between them seemed inexplicable.
Suddenly, there was the sound of hurried footsteps approaching.
“How’s Zoe?”
Nina looked up and saw William coming over. He was wearing a suit. William was almost as tall as Nash, with meticulously groomed hair. Despite being in his fifties, he still looked young and handsome, but his coldness was evident.
He seemed worried about Zoe’s situation. After all, she was his biological sister. No matter what, he would still be concerned. In the many years Nina had been in the York family, she had only seen William a few times, and each time was in a hurry.
While he was the son of Nash’s grandfather, their relationship didn’t seem to be very good. Nash’s grandfather had never mentioned him over the years. The family business had been passed down to Nash. When Nash’s grandfather passed away, William also did not return.
William’s gaze was not on Sally at all. Instead, he asked, “Nash, how is Zoe?”
At that moment, Nash frowned slightly and replied coldly, “She hasn’t come out yet.” William paused and said, “Then I’ll wait here.”
When Sally saw William, she was surprised. In this situation, she naturally wanted her husband to support her. However, she felt a sense of resentment because William treated her like she was invisible. “You’re willing to come out for this!” Sally accused him, “I got sick and was admitted to the hospital but you didn’t come. When something happened to Zoe, you rushed over immediately. How heartless of you! Do you even consider me your wife?”
Sally’s emotions were already unstable, and facing her husband’s indifference made her feel even worse.
William, with a cold expression, looked at her with his gloomy eyes and said, “Don’t think I don’t know what you’ve done. I’ll settle the score with you when Zoe wakes up!”
“It was her own fault. If she hadn’t hurt Miranda, why would I treat her like this You’re the same. How can you be so indifferent now?” Sally burst into tears.
William glanced at Miranda. Miranda stopped crying at this moment. Facing William, she felt a bit nervous, her hands tightly clasped. After seeing his gaze, she lowered her head and carefully called out, “Mr. Ford!”
William glanced at her briefly before withdrawing his cold gaze. “You’ve lost your mind over an outsider. You’re getting more and more out of control!”
“You want a divorce?” Sally understood his meaning. “I’ve been married to you for so many years, and even if I haven’t done much, I’ve endured a lot. Now you want a divorce for some other woman. You’re so determined to this extent. Well, I won’t allow it. Even in death, I’ll haunt you within the York family, never letting you off!”
Disgust flickered in William’s eyes.
