“So Nina can suffer less,” Nash explained.
He was still worried. Even with those beads protecting her, the poison remained in her body. She would eventually notice something wrong and feel unwell.
He did not know how long she could hold on or if it would affect her child. Solving the problem quickly was the best solution.
He was desperate and wanted the fastest way out.
Miranda’s fists clenched, her emotions unstable again. “Nina, Nina! It’s always about Nina. When have you ever spoken about me?” “Miranda,” Nash said.
Miranda’s hope flickered, expecting that he might finally consider her.
“I don’t owe you anything anymore,” Nash said coldly.
