“But the ratings aren’t there!” Nelly said, frustrated. “We’re only in second place on the platform, and there’s a huge gap. What good are good reviews without high ratings?”
“It will go up,” Nina encouraged her. “It’s only the first day. Don’t lose heart.”
Feeling reassured by Nina’s words, Nelly wiped her tears and tried to regain her composure.
After watching the drama, they all went home.
Nina could not sleep and kept checking the trending topics, following the feedback for ‘Glory’. The reviews were genuinely positive. People who watched it praised its originality and the excitement it brought. However, ‘Demonic Bone’ had broken this year’s viewership record on its first day, leaving ‘Glory’ far behind, especially since ‘Glory’ was only a web drama.
At that moment, Miranda and her team were already celebrating.
“Congratulations, Miranda! Congratulations, Director! Breaking records on the first day. This drama is bound to be a hit!”
“Thank you for the well wishes!” Miranda, looking radiant among the crowd. She smiled brightly and raised her glass to toast with them.
“Let’s hope Miranda wins Best Actress for this!”
“Winning Best Actress after just two films would be a record-breaking achievement!”

Putting down her glass, she decided to look for him. She ran into Quincy and asked, “Where’s Nash?”
Quincy nodded at her. “Mr. York had an urgent matter. He left with James and the others.”
Miranda’s happiness was overshadowed by worry. “Is it related to the female corpse case?”
“I’m not sure, but it’s likely.”
About five minutes earlier, Nash had received some news. He immediately left with James and his team, which meant it was likely something dangerous.
“Alright. Let me know immediately if you hear anything about Nash.”
Without Nash, Miranda lost interest in the party. After mingling for a while, she excused herself and left. She wanted to find Nash, but he had not returned. She was worried about the dangers he might face during this operation.
