Chapter 669

The special forces moved in swiftly, taking down one enemy at a time. They had no idea what the situation inside was like.
Meanwhile, Nash was hiding behind the sofa, unarmed and fighting alone.
His life hung by a thread. But he had no choice but to take this risk.
If he didn’t, he would never gain Seth’s trust and would never have made it here.
His goal was to find Seth’s hideout, and taking the injection for Miranda ensured she would bring him here.
Only Seth could cure his poison, which meant there was a good chance he could also cure Nina’s. As long as there was hope, Nash was willing to risk everything, even his life.
The price he paid was his current dire situation. He panted heavily, knowing there was no way out. Resolute, he stood up with his hands raised.
He looked at Seth and smirked. “If you kill me, you won’t escape either.”
Seth suddenly realized the truth and said coldly. “This was all part of your plan!”
Nash replied, “Isn’t it a win-win?”
Seth glared at him. “You led me to believe Sawyer had betrayed us! You knew I’d want to use you to get rid of him?”
Sawyer’s betrayal was something Nash had steered Seth toward.
Seth wanted someone else to kill Sawyer, and Nash was the perfect helper for that. Nash used this to get close to Seth through Miranda, leading him directly to Seth’s hideout. Nash looked at Seth and said, “In your eyes, my identity made me the perfect pawn, didn’t it?”
Seth aimed his gun at Nash. “You played the martyr card well! Are you really not afraid of dying?”
Nash responded, “I am afraid, but I’m more afraid of someone else dying before me!”
Seth realized that Nash’s ultimate goal was to have Miranda bring him here, to find the lab and the antidote. He was willing to risk his life for this!
“Ha ha ha,” Seth laughed bitterly. “I can’t believe you tricked me.”
Then his expression turned serious. “Do you realize you’ll pay the price for this?”
Nash said, “It’s worth it!”
Seth, furious at being outmaneuvered, clenched his teeth in anger. He wanted to shoot Nash, but Miranda kept interfering.
“Dad, don’t shoot! Don’t kill him…” Miranda pleaded, crying.
By then, the special forces had broken in.
Seth wanted to create an opportunity to escape, watching as the lab workers fled. He decisively aimed to eliminate Nash, but Miranda’s interference distracted him. Nash seized the chance, grabbed Seth’s arm, and disarmed him.
Gunfire erupted.
Nash quickly dodged the bullets and found cover.
Miranda, terrified, screamed and covered her head.
Nash shouted, “Which vial is the antidote?”
Seth, hiding behind cover, sneered. “Do you think I’ll tell you?”
Nash replied, “Tell me, and I’ll let you live.”
“You destroyed my lab. How do we settle that?” Seth yelled, grabbing a submachine gun.
Nash said, “Even if you don’t tell me, it’s only a matter of time.”
Seth, furious, opened fire wildly at Nash’s position.
The walls were riddled with bullets, turning them into Swiss cheese. Dust flew everywhere, and the lab was quickly reduced to ruins.
His men were busy fighting off the intruders, but Seth’s sole focus was on killing Nash.
Nash, being a trained special forces soldier, skillfully dodged the gunfire, continually buying time.
