A flash of ruthlessness crossed Ivy’s eyes. Since she had brought Nina here, she wouldn’t let her leave alive.
However, less than half an hour after the man left, someone knocked on her door.
“Come in.”
After she coldly spoke these words, a tall man entered, carrying a bowl of chicken soup.
“Miss Ivy, this is from the Pharaoh. He specifically instructed me to bring it to you to help you recover.”

The man’s voice was cold, “Miss Ivy, I follow the Pharaoh’s orders.”

When Nina came in, she wasn’t immediately beaten up like the others. She even dared to stand up to Mrs. Quintana. And just now, she was applying medicine to her wounds.
Medicine was a rare commodity in this slave camp. All this time, injuries were something she had to endure on her own.
The fact that Nina could get medicine showed she was no ordinary person. And Mrs. Quintana didn’t target her again.
