“Nina is trapped at Pharaoh’s place,” Nash said in a hoarse voice.

Micah positioned himself protectively in front of Nina, “Nina is staying at my place. If you have so much free time, why don’t you focus on your experiments and stop meddling here?” Pharaoh didn’t respond, his expression hidden behind his mask. However, Micah’s protective stance towards Nina did not go unnoticed by Pharaoh.
He remarked, “I just had a few words with her, and you’re already so tense. If something actually happened to her, wouldn’t you be dying?”
Pharaoh’s mocking tone was clear, but Micah knew better than to respond to it. While death might be an exaggeration, he needed to get to the bottom of things rather than being left in the dark.
“I don’t want to argue with you in front of others,” Micah said coldly.
Pharaoh said nothing more and turned to leave. His visit to Micah’s quarters made Ivy feel extremely uneasy. Pharaoh knew Nina was there, yet he did nothing. Even Nash had managed to leave successfully. This left Ivy wondering. If Micah was showing favoritism towards Nina, what about Nash?
