Micah trusted his instincts, but Nina did not. She felt a chill down her spine.
She had only just managed to shake off her gloom and convince herself she had no connection to the Pharaoh. Now Micah was bringing all this up again. She didn’t want to do the test!
“I’m not doing it!”
Nina was extremely resistant.

Mr. Joker swiftly restrained her with one hand and, using a syringe with the other, drew a vial of blood from her neck.
Nina clutched her neck, her gaze at Micah growing colder. “You truly are the Pharaoh’s son!”

Micah’s lips moved slowly. “If you had cooperated, none of this would have happened. Nina, getting a new result is good for both of us.”
With that, Micah stood up and gave Mr. Joker a look.
Mr. Joker immediately understood.
To ensure the authenticity of the results, the tests would be conducted in three separate batches, including a comparison between Micah and Ivy.
Mr. Joker went to handle it, and Micah left.
Nina was now alone in the room, feeling suffocated.

Ivy came in.
This time, Micah had sent Ivy to see Nina.

She stood up and walked towards Ivy step by step.
Nina thought Ivy’s build was similar to Miranda’s, but their voices and appearances were different. Besides, Miranda had been out of the picture for a long time. Ivy was targeting her simply because she was close to Micah.
“I am disappointed. But since my brother likes you, I’ll tolerate you. Isn’t there a saying, ‘Sometimes conflicts bring people closer”?”
Ivy’s lips curled into a sarcastic smile. Her gaze was filled with contempt and scorn as she looked at Nina, not taking her seriously at all.
Nina didn’t need Ivy’s respect. “I don’t need your tolerance, nor do I need your friendship.”
Nina turned her back coldly on Ivy, who immediately flew into a rage. “Nina, I’m giving you respect. Don’t throw it away!”
What did Nina have to be so arrogant about? There was nothing remarkable about her.
Nina’s smile remained. “I am throwing it away. Are you a princess or a queen? Do your words carry the weight of a royal command?”
“You! Nina, I’ll make sure to teach you a lesson!”
With that, Ivy quickly attacked, but Nina dodged.
Nina had trained with Scarlett and practiced in her free time. She could evade close-range attacks.
But then Ivy pulled out a handgun.
The black muzzle aimed at Nina’s head, Ivy’s eyes gleaming with triumph.
Seeing Nina stop in her tracks, Ivy smiled. “Nina, you are scared after all. I thought you weren’t afraid of anything.”
