Nina noticed the blood streaming down Micah’s face, her eyes widening in shock. She wanted to speak, but it felt like an invisible hand was choking her.
Before she could say anything, Micah forcefully pushed her away. “Go find Nash! Don’t come back!”
Nina stumbled, nearly falling, but a strong hand caught her around the waist. Before she could react, gunshots rang out, deafening her.

Micah, meanwhile, was surrounded by Seth’s men. Mr. Joker fought with all his might but was forced to stop.

“Micah, I didn’t think you had such a deep mind. I really thought you were poisoned. I underestimated you.”
He had planned to make his move at the banquet, but Wilfred and Nina’s escape attempt had accelerated his plans. Nonetheless, he was impressed by Micah’s tactics. Micah sneered.
As Seth approached, Micah struck quickly. Seth’s bodyguards reacted instantly, but Seth raised a hand to stop them.
Seth and Micah began to fight.
“Micah, you’re quite the hidden talent. If it weren’t for Wilfred and Nina, I wouldn’t have known you had these skills.” Micah’s martial skills were impressive, but he was up against Seth, who had weapons and men on his side.
Mr. Joker had been subdued by Seth’s men, and Seth was merely toying with Micah.
Just as Micah delivered a hand strike towards Seth, Seth pulled a gun from his waist and aimed it at Micah’s head. Micah showed no fear. He knew Seth wouldn’t kill him.

Mr. Joker had been with him for many years and was like family. He couldn’t bear the thought of him getting hurt because of him.
Seth’s lips curled into a mocking, satisfied smile. “I don’t have to kill him. Mr. Joker, you’re quite talented. If you pledge your loyalty to me, I’ll spare you.”
“Don’t even think about it!” Mr. Joker’s eyes were narrow with rage, but his pride shone through.
Micah had spoken up for Mr. Joker, ensuring Seth wouldn’t kill him. Though shot twice, Micah didn’t consider it a major setback.
He stood protectively in front of Mr. Joker, his eyes filled with fierce determination. “Seth, you wouldn’t dare!”
Seth’s smile deepened. “Micah, you’re a prisoner now. What wouldn’t I dare?”
