“I’ll go see if I can find some wild berries. Ivy, stay here and don’t go anywhere, okay?” Wilfred said.

They were on the run together. Where could she possibly go? Facing this pursuit, she could not afford to wander and become a burden to Wilfred.
Meanwhile, Nash was tracking Nina and Wilfred’s latest whereabouts but had no progress.

“Nash, I didn’t realize you had such deep feelings for Nina,” Micah said, approaching Nash with a stern expression.
“If you hadn’t shown up with reinforcements, I could have executed my plan more effectively. Seth thought he had me with those two bullets, but he underestimated me. I’ve known about his schemes for a while. I just didn’t expect you to bring so many people for Nina’s sake.”
Nash’s voice was cold, “Nina is Nina, separate from you and your tribe.”
Nash understood everything between Nina and Micah. He could differentiate between them and respect Nina’s wishes, no matter the conflict. His feelings for her would never change.
“With the Yaren tribe in its current state, I can’t let her return. But, Nash, without Seth or Pharaoh, I’ll make the Yaren tribe better, “Micah said, his lips pressed together, determination evident in his eyes.
“If the Yaren tribe improves, when Nina comes back, she’ll be respected by everyone. Why should she be separated from the Yaren tribe?” Micah pondered.
