Chapter 932

Nina did not say anything, but she gave Micah a knowing smile.
Despite resuming their journey, this small incident left Micah and Mr. Joker wary, with Nina also keeping it in mind. They did not realize that a team was covertly following them to ensure their safe return to the Yaren tribe. Upon learning of Nina’s return, the Pharaoh had meticulously prepared an enormous, luxurious room for her. The moment Nina stepped inside, she promptly exited.
“Give me a simpler room,” she demanded.
She had not seen the Pharaoh, but she knew this was his doing. This was his attempt at making amends, but their history could not be mended with a few gestures.
As she entered the tribe, memories of narrowly escaping death, being treated as an experiment, and the tribe’s cruel methods flooded back.
She could not forget Nash being poisoned and his eventual death.
She knew her biological father, the Pharaoh, and Nash were always at odds. For the past five years, she had been secretly investigating whether the Pharaoh had any involvement in Nash’s death. “Alright then. You can stay in a simpler room,” Micah conceded to Nina’s insistence.
Soon, Nina and Orion were moved to a new room. Micah had other matters to attend to, and after handing over some essential items, Mr. Joker also left, leaving Nina and Orion alone. Orion adapted quickly to the new environment, staying quietly by her side.
“Get out!” A haughty female voice approached just as Nina was about to speak to Orion. She looked up to see a Yaren woman in her early twenties standing arrogantly in front of her. Nina maintained a neutral expression.
“This is…”
Nina had no intention of starting a conflict, but before she could explain her situation, the woman barked, “Do I need to throw you out myself?”
Seeing Nina remain unmoved only fueled the woman’s anger.
She had chosen this room long ago, and now, before she could move in, this woman who came with Micah had taken it.
Over the past five years, Micah had not had any women around him, and now he had returned with a woman and a child. To her, this indicated that Nina had used unscrupulous means. Micah, always maintaining his integrity, could not have made such a mistake otherwise!
The more she thought about it, the angrier she got. No, she had to show Nina her place and make her realize that entering the Yaren tribe was not easy. She wanted Nina to leave voluntarily. Over the past five years, Nina had faced many challenges and learned to stay composed. She knew she could not let situations affect her or be easily manipulated.
A cold smile touched Nina’s lips. “I’d like to see you try and throw me out.”
To the woman, Nina’s smile seemed smug.
Enraged, she stormed toward Nina, ready to strike.
But before she could land a blow, Nina grabbed her wrist and pushed her away forcefully.
Caught off guard, the woman stumbled and fell to the ground.
