“You bully Miranda and expect me to be kind? Ha!” Sally’s tone was nasty. “Trying to trap Nash with this child? Who knows who the father really is? You think you can use the York name? You’re not worthy!”
The insults were too much for Nina to bear. “Watch your mouth. I’m letting this child call you grandma out of respect for Nash. If you don’t want that, fine, you won’t be his grandmother. This isn’t the York family home. Please leave!” Sally sneered, “Leave? You and Nash are divorced. I’m his mother. You’re the one who should leave!”
Nina found her unreasonable and didn’t want to argue further. “Escort her out!” she ordered.
The helpers moved to show Sally out, but she resisted, shoving them aside. “Get this straight, I’m Nash’s mother. Even he has to show me respect and call me Mom. How dare you push me? Are you out of your mind?”
