“Well, Nina is already here,” Ivy said, secretly clenching her hands in frustration, but she had to press on. If Nina did not die, keeping her around was a disaster waiting to happen.
Seth gave Ivy a cold glance. “I have my own plans for this. You don’t need to remind me over and over. Go back and do what you’re supposed to do.”
“Yes.”

On Nash’s end, he was meticulously planning.
He could not launch an attack under his own name. Although he had managed to infiltrate once, he could not just leave Nina alone inside the Yaren tribe. He had also tried contacting Wilfred, but there had been no response. When he called Wilfred’s number, a robotic female voice informed him, “The number you have dialed is currently switched off. Please try again later…”
It was unrealistic to think that Wilfred would not respond at such a critical moment.
Nash immediately instructed Felix, “Find the exact location of this number.”
Wilfred would surely react to the news of Nina being in the Yaren tribe.
Nash was extremely anxious.
Soon enough, Felix found Wilfred’s location. “Captain, Wilfred is currently inside the Yaren tribe.”
They managed to track him because Wilfred had his GPS enabled.
Nash finally breathed a sigh of relief.
If Wilfred met with Micah, there was a chance they could get Nina out.
Now, he had to find a way to contact Micah and coordinate with Wilfred.
But… Micah’s phone was unreachable.
He had no choice but to negotiate in person and request a meeting with Micah. This matter reached the Pharaoh.
The Pharaoh confronted Micah. “Micah, what is this? Are you going to ruin yourself?”
He had hoped to entrust the future of the Yaren tribe to Micah, but Micah showed no interest, choosing instead to leave and become a teacher. Now he had returned, bringing back someone else’s wife. Even though Nina resembled someone long dead, she couldn’t be allowed to influence Micah and the future of the Yaren tribe.
“Why am I ruining myself? Haven’t you already found your daughter?” Micah retorted, not holding back.
The Pharaoh’s facial expression was hidden behind a mask, but his displeasure was evident.
In a stern tone, the Pharaoh said, “How I arrange things is my business, but you cannot act this way. Send Nina away.” Micah was stunned.
Outsiders who entered the Yaren tribe either became slaves or were used as test subjects. Almost no one left alive.
Scott and Scarlett were exceptions because Nina had found them first. And Nash who had infiltrated, managed to leave because he was backed by the powerful Birkham.
“I’m curious, why would you let Nina go?” Micah asked quietly, looking at the Pharaoh.
With the mask obscuring his face, Micah couldn’t discern much.
The Pharaoh stood firm. “Do I need a reason to spare one life? You’re willing to risk everything for Nina.”
Even if Nina had to die, it couldn’t be in front of Micah.
A sarcastic smile played on Micah’s lips. “Should I be thanking you for your mercy then?”
The Pharaoh had always been strict with Micah. Busy with experiments, he seldom spent time with Micah, so their father-son bond wasn’t deep. They rarely spoke.
But this was the first time Micah had spoken to him in such a tone.
