“No passcode needed,” he said, then stood up and left.

As she spoke, she kept an eye on her surroundings. Micah was not in her line of sight, and Nash’s voice sounded in her ear, “Nina, don’t act impulsively. This isn’t something you should handle. Regarding the Yaren tribe, I’ve already submitted a request to the higher-ups.” Nina understood Nash’s situation. Birkham soldiers were different from those of the Yaren tribe or any other country’s military. They were organized and disciplined, and everything they did had to be reported to the organization.
“Nash, I understand your situation. I don’t blame you for not being able to rescue me immediately. I just want to do something.”
She clutched the phone tightly, her breath catching.
She never blamed Nash for not being able to rescue her right away. She was just worried about his safety.
Nash’s voice was firm. “You don’t need to do anything. Wilfred is in the Yaren tribe, but we don’t know his plan. Don’t worry, I won’t leave you there for long.”

“I already have a plan…”

Micah’s words silenced Nina.
