Chapter 1064

“With your willpower, I believe you can get through this. I’ll be monitoring your progress closely,” Wilfred said calmly, and he followed through on his promise.
Breaking an addiction was painful, but Micah had plenty of support around him, especially with Freya by his side. After a week, Micah successfully overcame his dependence on the drugs.
This was great news for everyone, especially Freya, who was overjoyed. “Micah, let’s visit the grassroots communities. There are still so many people who need our help.”
Freya’s thinking was straightforward. If she and Micah focused on their work together, it would keep his mind off Arin’s death.
Recently, Micah had felt guilty about neglecting her, thinking he owed her more attention since they had just gotten married. He had been trying to make up for the time he had neglected her by staying by her side. However, things unexpectedly took a turn for the worse, and instead of improving, Micah ended up in his current troubled state.
Holding Freya close, Micah agreed, “Your idea is a good one. Let’s head to the grassroots. With Joker looking after things here, the Yaren tribe will be in good hands.”
“Alright,” she responded, relieved.
Micah and Freya decided to leave, so Pharaoh had to stay in the Yaren Tribe for a while to keep an eye on things, otherwise, he wouldn’t feel at ease. However, Pharaoh was very reluctant to part with Orion.
In Birkham, the time he spent with Orion had been so peaceful. He had originally planned to come over just to attend Micah and Freya’s wedding, but now, everything had taken an unexpected turn.
Pharaoh gently patted Orion’s head with affection. “Orion, when you go back with your parents this time, you need to be on your best behavior. I’ll come to visit you soon,” he said, his voice filled with warmth and care.
Orion nodded obediently. “Don’t worry, Grandpa. I’ll listen to Mom and Dad, study hard, and wait for you to come visit.”
“Good boy,” Pharaoh replied with a smile.
Pharaoh personally saw them off at the airport. Meanwhile, on the business side, Quincy was handling matters.
When it came to business, Quincy had things covered. As for Nina, Shane respected her decision, but Quincy spoke up first, “Sir, why don’t you and madam stay in the Yaren Tribe a little longer? I can take Orion back home for school. Don’t worry, I’ll coordinate with madam’s adoptive parents to make sure everything is arranged properly.”
Nina glanced at Orion. Ever since Orion was born, Nina hadn’t been there for him for the past five years.
Now that he was about to start school, it wouldn’t be right to keep him in the Yaren Tribe. It would only disrupt his education. How could she possibly feel at ease letting him go back home on his own?
“No, I won’t stay in the Yaren Tribe. Once they return from the grassroots, Orion’s grandpa will be joining us.”
Besides, they had already decided to settle in Birkham from the start.
Nash, understanding Nina’s decision, pulled her aside. “I know you’re worried about things here. If you’re uneasy about sending Orion back alone, I’ll go with him. But if you stay behind on your own, I’ll be worried about you.”
The distance was the real issue. If they were just a drive away, they could handle everything easily. But now, Nina felt the weight of that distance.
Her biological father, Pharaoh, had experienced so much in life and had plenty of capable people around him, and with Freya at Micah’s side, she knew they would be fine.
She needed to focus on Orion for now.
Nina ultimately decided to return to Birkham, but meanwhile, William took advantage of their absence to stir up trouble, contacting certain individuals to cause disruptions. Although some had been temporarily misled by William, there were still those who remained loyal to Nash.
