Chapter 146
Chapter 146:
“Birthday cake? Whose birthday is it p>
“Mine p>
At this, Wendy shot up from her bed.
She ripped off her sheet mask and stared at Fernanda in surprise. “It’s your birthday? Why didn’t you say anything sooner? I totally forgot to get you a gift p>

Once Wendy finished, she brushed her teeth and headed to bed. “You should get some sleep. We’ve got a freshman meeting in the morning,” Wendy said.
Fernanda nodded, then lay down and turned off the lights.
She tried to fall asleep quickly but found herself wide awake for what felt like forever. Cristian’s face kept flashing in her mind, throwing her thoughts off track.
She wasn’t sure when she finally dozed off, but the next morning, it was Wendy’s voice that woke her.
By that time, Wendy was already dressed and ready. Fernanda could smell the sweet, fruity scent of hand cream on her skin.
“Get up. I’m going to grab breakfast,” Wendy said. “Any food restrictions p>
