Chapter 358
Chapter 358:
“Soren said he’s seen your brother before! You should come over. He’s been beaten badly.” Her heart dropped.
How did Kevin end up getting beaten?
There was a faint sound of a girl crying on the other end, a sound that Fernanda instantly recognized as Erika’s voice.
“Alright, Leon, I’ll be there in a moment,” Fernanda said before quickly ending the call.
Ector, who had been standing on the balcony, stepped inside, his gaze curious.
“Fernanda, what’s going on p>
He had caught the mention of “brother and sister” and it piqued his interest. Fernanda didn’t feel the need to keep anything back.
“A friend called. Kevin’s been beaten up and is at his place now. Ector, I need you to come with me p>
Ector blinked in surprise for a brief moment but then nodded without hesitation.
“Alright, I’m with you p>
The storm unleashed its fury as Fernanda and Ector hurried to the garage, entered their car, and drove off into the downpour. Inside the vehicle, the relentless clatter of rain was reduced to a faint backdrop, replaced by the rhythmic motion of the wipers clearing the windshield.
“Let’s head to Zero Degree,” Fernanda instructed.
Ector gave a knowing nod.
With the late hour and unfavorable weather, the roads were nearly empty. Ector maintained a swift yet cautious speed, and within three-quarters of an hour, they arrived at their destination.
The moment Fernanda stepped inside, she spotted Soren waiting near the entrance.

As it opened, Erika’s wrenching cries filled the air, striking Fernanda immediately. She sobbed as though enduring an irreplaceable loss.
Fernanda found it hard to imagine anyone shedding so many tears. Erika had been crying since morning and still continued with the same intensity late into the night.
On the couch lay Kevin, his head swathed in bandages.
“This isn’t as serious as I thought,” Fernanda remarked, folding her arms as she examined him. “I expected something dire, but it seems like just a head wound p>
Kevin winced as he attempted to rise, but the sharp pain radiating from his injury forced him to stop, sending waves of discomfort through his body.
Erika, despite her tears, wasn’t completely consumed by sorrow. At Fernanda’s biting comment, she shouted, “How can you be so heartless? Kevin’s hurt, and you’re making sarcastic remarks p>
“And what about you?” Fernanda shot back, her tone sharp. “What good is bawling your eyes out? Is that going to solve anything p>
