Chapter 798

Mr. Bush’s face was dark with anger. “Nolan, is that any way to talk to a teacher?”
Since the semester started, Mr. Bush had already had to deal with Nolan twice. Now it was the third time and Nolan was completely out of patience. He’d tried being nice, he’d tried apologizing, but Mr. Bush just wouldn’t let up.
“You’re just someone who watches over the dorm. Do you really think you’re a real teacher? Please.” Nolan spat the words, then actually spit at Mr. Bush, droplets flying everywhere.
Lydia narrowed her eyes and stepped right up, landing a hard slap on Nolan’s cheek. “No respect for your elders. You had that coming.”
Nolan barely saw her move, but his face was burning.
“You… you actually hit me?”
If he’d been angry before, now Nolan was totally losing it.
“I’m telling you, you’re all done! You too, Luke! Every last one of you is getting kicked out of this school today!” Nolan yelled, pointing at Lydia, Mr. Bush, and Luke, his hand shaking with rage.
Mr. Bush just stared him down. “I’d love to see you try.”
He turned to the other guys in the room. “You, call your parents now. Tell them to come pick you up.”
Nolan let out a cold laugh. “You really think I’m scared of you?”
He whipped out his phone and called his dad, putting on his best victim act. “Dad, come to the school. Mr. Bush and some others ganged up on me in the dorm. Bring Gina too. Get Mr. Bush and that annoying Luke kicked out for good!”
After a few words with his dad, Nolan hung up and shot a smug look at the three of them. “Just wait. You’re all out of here soon.”
Lydia raised an eyebrow. “You seem pretty sure of yourself.”
Nolan scoffed. “I never take a gamble I’m not sure I’ll win. You started this. Now you’ll pay. It’s all Luke’s fault.”
Lydia gave him a cold smile. “Funny. I have a feeling the one getting kicked out will be you. Or maybe your dad, or that Gina you mentioned.” Fresh chapters posted on ͟.net
Mr. Bush frowned. “He means Ms. Murphy. The principal.”
Lydia looked even more surprised. “So you didn’t just call your dad. You called the principal too?”
Nolan thought he’d scared her and lifted his chin with a sneer. “Scared now? Too late.”
“But we’re not the ones in the wrong. If the principal shows up, shouldn’t you be the one getting punished?”
As soon as Lydia said it, Nolan got even more worked up. “Shut up already! Just wait, you’re all getting kicked out!”
Mr. Bush looked like he wanted to
say something, but before he could, Luke came over to tydia and

classmates that the principaPand his
dad are pretty close.”
Lydia caught on right away and raised her voice. “Wait, are you saying his dad and
the principal are sleeping together?”
Nolan’s eyes went red with fury. “Shut up!”
Lydia grinned. “Guess I hit a nerve.”
Nolan charged at her, fist raised, but Luke stepped in fast and grabbed Nolan’s wrist. “Back off.”
Nolan couldn’t win with words or with his fists. He was stunned that Luke, the guy everyone called weak, actually managed to stop him.
“Fine. Just wait!”
Ten minutes later, Nolan’s parents showed up.

Roger walked in, face like thunder.
Ashley hurried in behind him rushed straight over to Nolan.
“Nolan, honey, who hit you? Are you huft?”

Nolan pointed straight at Lydia. “It was her! She hit me!”
Roger’s eyes blazed. “Mr. Bush, this is how you run the dorm? You let someone else hit my son?”
Ashley didn’t even hesitate. She marched over in her high heels, ready to slap
Lydia. But Lydia caught her wrist and tossed it aside, glaring.
“Your son smokes in the dorm, bullies his classmates, spits on teachers, and threatens to get everyone kicked out. As his parents, you don’t bother to discipline him. Instead, you just let him do whatever he wants. No wonder he turned out like this. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.”
