Garrett glanced over and saw a woman with long hair in a light blue dress standing right beside him. Their eyes met, and for a moment, both of them were caught off guard. Garrett thought she looked familiar, but he couldn’t quite remember where he’d seen her before.
Kylie, sitting next to Garrett, lit up with surprise. “Miss Davis?”
Because of the dim lighting, Violette had only just realized that it was Kylie sitting beside Garrett. She quickly greeted her with polite warmth. “Hello.”
Violette’s ticket had come from Juna, so she’d assumed Juna would be in the seat next to hers. She’d been searching the rows for Juna, but there was no sign of her. Juna had just texted to say she was here, so where was she now?
“Is this your seat? Come on, sit down,” Kylie urged.

An idea popped into Lucinda’s head. If she could get Leila to become Elliot’s girlfriend, maybe she’d finally have the upper hand. The more she thought about it, the more it made sense. And then there was Paige, who’d obviously had a thing for Blake in the beginning. If her brothers married her friends, it would only work out in her favor.
