“Look at that! First place, Chris!”
“Weston’s right behind in second!”
“And Arden’s holding third! It’s a Team A sweep so far!”
The announcer’s excited play-by-play made everything feel even more intense. The
crowd went wild, waving flags and screaming for Chris.
In Team Country D’s cars, the drivers were losing it, gripping their wheels so tight their hands hurt, but nothing worked. They couldn’t get past those two cars in front. It was like running into a pair of moving walls, blocking every move.
“And another failed overtake from Team Country D! Folks, are you wondering why they just can’t break through? Are you curious who’s holding fourth and fifth place,
shutting Team Country D down? I can’t believe what I’m seeing!”
