My heart is still beating heavily as he leads me back into the private room. On my way inside, I notice that the restaurant is still empty. “I never knew you to be impatient,’’ Russ scowls with an amused smile on his face as beau leads me back to the chair I was seated on.
“Fuck off,’’ I roll my eyes at him because I want him out of here. Russ is annoying. Like the highest level of annoying. He was teasing me intentionally. He was trying to rile me up. trying to watch me break—especially since he knew that I didn’t even want to be here with him.
“God, I guess this is my cue to leave,’’ he walks in the direction of the door. My attention is fixed on beau. he is the only one I care about right now. I have never seen him this dressed up in all the time I have known him.
“Thanks again. I know this wasn’t easy,’’ beau tells my best friend as he walks out of the room.
Beau sits down opposite me and smiles widely “Why didn’t you just bring me here on your own?’’ I ask him.
He shrugs “I wanted to surprise you,’’ he winks and my heart melts into goo at the sight in front of me.
“I hate surprises,’’ I mutter with pouty lips. he grabs my hands through the table.
“That’s just what everyone says. No one ever really hates surprises.”
I roll my eyes even though I can’t really focus on anything but his touch “Well I am the one percent.”
He laughs and squeezes my hand gently “I am sorry for being absent all this while. I know it upset you and all.’’
I raise a brow “Was this the reason why you were absent, last night.’’
He laughs “I was actually with Bells last night. That wasn’t a lie and today, I also had stuff planned for the day.’’
I roll my eyes because he is obviously lying—or should I say trying to cover up stuff. It all makes sense now.
“Seriously. There was no surprise. I planned this after the conversation this morning.” His expression is serious. Makes this even more believable but I know Beau and I know he can be sneaky. This is the problem I have with surprises. The high expectations and the letdowns. Not that this isn’t good enough. I mean, we haven’t had a date in a while. I am with him and that is all that matters to me. the door opens and the waiter walks in with a tray.
Food.
The one thing that won’t let me down right now.
“Wow, you ordered a lot of food,’’ Beau mutters with a smile on his face. he has been smiling a lot today, even though his eyes are tired. I don’t even know if he had any sleep last night and then he woke up pretty early this morning.
“You look tired.’’
His smile widens “I am not tired. Just very happy to be with you right now.”
“You sure about that?’’ I smile because he is staring at me and it is making me giddy and excited. He stands up from the chair and leans over the table, pressing his lips to mine for a soft kiss. I close my eyes as I grab him by his neck and deepen the kiss. He moans into my mouth and I cling onto him for more. Our tongues dance to the rhythm of our heartbeats and I completely forget that we are not at home as I grab unto his tie, wanting to loosen it up.
“Your food is going to get cold,’’ he pulls away from me slightly, our foreheads resting together.
“You are the only meal I want right now,’’ I tell him just as my stomach decides to betray me and grumble loudly. He bursts out in laughter and sits back on the chair, slowly shifting it closer to me. now, he is not opposite me anymore but beside me “I can feed you,’’ he winks and my heart melts as h grabs the fork in front of me.

After our late lunch, we walk out of the restaurant and he grabs my hand in his tightly “Why are you so dressed up?’’ I ask him.
He winks as we walk to the car “Can’t a man dress pretty for his boyfriend? You know you are so not fun baby.’’
I roll my eyes and jump on top of him as he enters the car. We are in the parking lot of the restaurant and I noticed that it was empty, so there is no harm in getting a taste of him before we go home. He looked like a snack all through our lunch, I am surprised I held out this long.
“Hey,” he pulls away from him as I try to eat at his face with my mouth. My lips find their way to his again as I completely ignore him. I reach for his button and he grabs my hand “Wait, what are you doing?’’ he asks, his eyes glistening.
“I am kissing my boyfriend,’’ I plant a kiss on his cheek and then one on his forehead. My hand rests on his belt, slowly, I tug at the button of his pants “and other things,’’ I add as I feel him get harder. He closes his eyes and I watch him. I love it when I make him unable to resist me. I love the reaction I get from him every time I touch him.
“Someone could see us,’’ he groans into my lips as I get his pants free and feel his dick on my grip.
“I don’t care, do you?’’ I ask him slowly pulling away from him and watching him at his weakest. He bends his head backward and sighs out in frustration. His eyes remain on mine as I start to stroke him slowly and sensually. There is a hint of hesitation in his eyes. It is so small that if I didn’t know him so well, I wouldn’t even be able to tell.
I see the last shred of self-control in his eyes as he grabs me by my waist gently.
“What the hell,’’ he smashes his lips to mine again, completely giving in to me.
