A day passes by and Lenny returns. I hear him downstairs as he asks the girl questions about him. I listen in as she tells him everything that happened. She tells him that I went out of the house, she tells him all the conversations we had and I don’t even care.
I don’t care that he knows all those things because I will not let him continue to use me. He sees me as a weak omega, someone that he can just use as a blood bank. I will not let him continue to take what is mine and make me weak.
I feel stronger than I have ever felt in my whole life and maybe it is all the anger. I feel violated, used and abused.
He has me here against my will and he thinks he is going to get away with it. He thinks he is going to win this fight.
I am not even going to wait for Darrien. This fight is not for him.
It is mine and mine alone. I hear him walking up the stairs and I know that he is going to come into the room.
He is going to want to feed on me and I have to act like I am helpless. I need him to keep seeing me as that helpless loser that needs his mate to save him. He needs to trust that I won’t do anything and that is when I will attack.
I hear the door open and he is in the room now. I am sitting on the bed, trying to act weak but right now, I have so much energy bursting out of me. I watch him as he looks at me, I know what he expects me to do.
He wants me to keep begging him.
He wants me to look pitiful and that is exactly what I will do. He is going to think that he is safe.
“Lenny, please I want to go home,’’ I clutch the covers in my hands tightly. My heart is racing because I want to do more than beg.
“Didn’t you miss me?’’ he walks closer to me and I silently pray that he doesn’t notice that the writing on the ceiling is not there anymore. If he does, then I will not be able to ambush him. He sits down on the bed next to me and I want to scream at him.
I remain silent because he can’t expect me to answer his question. He must know how much I hate him. There is no doubt in his mind.
“Well I missed you,’’ he reaches for me and I flinch at his touch. My skin crawls as he brushes a strand of my hair out of my face “I missed you so much, you have no idea,’’ he leans forward and I feel his breath against my skin,
My heart thuds against my chest and my wolf growls internally in anger. I take a deep breath because this is not the right now for this.
“I am hungry, I didn’t get anything to eat today,’’ I blurt out because I need more energy. I need to be at full capacity before I attack him. I know what he wants right now. When he says he missed me, he means my blood and now he is so close to me. I know what he is leaning for. I will bring him down easily and it will be fast. His eyes shift from me to my neck.
I want to roll away from his touch, but I don’t want to give him the satisfaction of thinking that he has gotten to me.
I want this fight and I want to make sure that I am ready.
A smile sprawls on his face as he moves away from me “Blood or meat?” he asks me with a boyish grin. I can’t even answer him because my wolf is clawing at me and telling me to attack now. I want to attack now, to pounce on him and make him suffer.
I force myself to relax. I can’t do this right now. I will do it soon.
“Both.’’
He chuckles and I watch him stand up from the bed but doesn’t leave the room “You seem very relaxed today, are you finally ready to give me all of you?’’ he asks calmly. Like that is even possible.
I look away from him because I can’t hide the truth from my eyes. He would look into them and know how I truly feel. He reaches for me again and grabs my chin gently. Darrien was right. He doesn’t want to hurt me, he needs me. His eyes hold mine as he tilts my head back so he can see my eyes. My wolf rolls through my body and I feel the need to fight. He must know how I feel.
He leans in closer to me and I can smell his blood on his breath. There is no doubt that he is going to feed on me. I can feel my wolf clawing at me to attack but I can’t. I have to be strong.
Lenny leans back and his eyes lock with mine. His hands brace against the wall behind him, mine is braced against the bed too. He reaches for my neck and I know what he wants. I know that he wants to feed on me.
“I will be back,’’’ he smiles before moving away from me and I watch him as he walks out of the room and out of my sight. I fall back on the bed, my hands are shaking as I try to take steady breaths. I am not going to let today pass by, I will not give him the chance to have my blood.
Once he gets back with the blood, I am going to fight him to death.
I am going to show him that I am also not to be messed with.
I am going to win.
