I hold onto the bed as I get up and the moment I stand on my feet, I walk over to the door and open it up. I can hear her around the house, she is loud. She is the wrong person to have kept here but I am glad.
I open the door and the hallway is bright, brighter than the room he kept me in. I walk all the way down the steps as fast as I can. I walk until I see the front door, I can hear her rummaging through the kitchen, I ignore her sounds and reach for the door. I open the door and it is cold, but I feel the warmth that comes from the sun. I quickly close the door and continue to walk as I look for somewhere to hide, I need to get to the road.
