“How did you get everyone here in such a short time?’’ Alanis asks me. we are finally married and everyone is seated at the reception. It wasn’t easy planning this because I had to do everything so quickly. I know this could have been better if I had the time but I am glad for what we have now. I am happy that I put his ring on his finger. I am happy that I can finally call him my husband. It has been a long time coming and with everything that has happened. I just wanted to seal the deal and make him mine forever.
I have never been one for labels. It doesn’t matter to me, as long as we can be together but I needed to do right by him. I wanted him to be my husband before my children come into this world. this will make us a complete family and I am excited about our future.
“It wasn’t easy. Rex was with Jules, so I just had to beg him to come along with them. I didn’t want to do this without everyone that made it possible.” I tell him shrugging lightly. It was easy convincing Blue to leave his father’s cabin. Apparently, there is something going on with Gyles that I might have to get involved in after this. I don’t know what it is but I didn’t want to get into it while my mind was a mess.
Bells walks over to our table and there is a smile on her face “Congratulations Alanis,” she raises her glass of champagne into the air. I smile because she is the one that helped me with basically everything.
“I know you had a hand in all this, so I should thank you,’’ he manages. It seems like he is still in a daze. I know I sprung this all on him. I wanted to be married to him so badly, that I didn’t mind shouldering the whole wedding.
“Nah, you boy here, did all the work and spent all the money.” She winks at me and I respond with a smile.
“Well, I had no clue,’’ he pulls me closer to him and I feel his heat, warm and inviting. I close my eyes for a second because, I still have one last thing up my sleeve, the way Lanis has been looking at me all night doesn’t help matters.
The night flies by so fast, spending all this time with the people that matter the most to me. I am at a very calm and happy place in my life. I didn’t think it was ever possible. All thanks to Lanis, I get to experience a lot of first.

“Where are we going?’’ Lanis asks me.
I rented a car for the weekend. I don’t want to take him far away right now because of the pregnancy and all but I still want to have a honeymoon with him. I am doing everything traditionally, so I would like to make things flow the way they would.
“it’s a surprise,’’ I tell him with a smile on my face. we are in a limousine, on our way to the hotel. It is not a big deal but at least it is better than the motel. I knew instantly that he didn’t want to spend the night at the motel. I paid a lot of money, to use the place.
“Why am I blindfolded?’’ he mutters and raises his hands up in question.
I laugh because there was no plan to blindfold him. I just used my tie. maybe this was me wanting to be a little naughty before we have our privacy.
“No reason,’’ I teel him, moving closer to him. my hand finds its way to his belt and he stiffens against me.
