We get to the mansion and I walk into the house with his arm in mine. He is very quiet. The car ride was quiet. I am so angry and right now, this is the angriest I have ever been. My anger is not directed at Jabi because this is not his fault. It is my fault. From the beginning, I didn’t trust the guy but I let him into our lives.
“I am sorry,’’ he cries, stopping me in front of the door. I turn to him and he looks at me and I see the most sorrowful look on his face.

“Darrien calling me, what is the emergency,’’ he voices out into the phone.
I roll my eyes because even till now, I don’t want to need anyone. I don’t want to have to ask him for this favor because I don’t like being indebted to people but now, I have to and he is going to rub it in.
“Where are you?’’ I am not even going to bother with preliminaries. I am so bothered and I don’t know how to handle all this shit.
“Out, what is wrong?’’
“When will you be back, if you can come back home right now, I need you to do that.’’ I stomp my foot on the ground in frustration.
I hate this feeling.
