Chapter 171

Chapter 171:

However, Kaiden was still angry with Ellie and didn’t even look at her.

“Ma’am, Mr. Thorpe owns fifty percent of this restaurant. Naturally, the owner would reserve a private room for Mr. Thorpe whenever he requests it,” Bruce explained, noticing Kaiden’s silence. He had contacted the owner of the restaurant two hours ago to book a private room, as Kaiden had instructed.

“Did you say he owns fifty percent of this restaurant?” Ellie asked in shock.

Bruce nodded and explained, “Not only that, but all the houses here are Mr. Thorpe’s property. Kaiden bound her wrists with it once again, leaving her unable to struggle.

“What do you think?” Kaiden whispered as he kissed her earlobe. The warm, wet touch of his lips sent a shiver through her.

Then she heard him whisper menacingly, “Think carefully about why I’m unhappy p>

“Why do you need to tie my hands?” Ellie protested, trying to break free. She hated that he used this tie—it felt humiliating. It was supposed to be a thank-you gift she had prepared for Theo.

“If you figure out why I’m unhappy, I’ll untie you,” Kaiden replied calmly. As far as he was concerned, he was being generous, giving her a way out.

He felt she should thank him.

“Kaiden… Hmm p>
