Her eyes darted around as she whispered, “Dad, honestly, Elowen’s a good person; she’s just a bit immature. Larry’s expression darkened even more at her words.
He stood up from his chair, clasped his hands behind his back, and paced by the window a few times. After a moment, he stopped, his face stern. “If she’s that immature, she probably can’t handle running the company p>
“Exactly,” Amara replied nonchalantly. “The Sullivan Group is your life’s work. It needs proper management, not someone running it on a whim p>
Larry said nothing, maintaining his solemn expression for a few more seconds before speaking. “We’ll decide on the shares later. There are some family matters to discuss too. You should head back p>
“Alright, I’ll go for now. Don’t let it upset you too much, Dad. I’ll have a chat with Elowen p>
After saying that, Amara left the chairman’s office. Her face was mostly hidden behind a mask, showing little emotion, but a smirk was playing at the corners of her lips.
For now, it seemed she wouldn’t be getting the majority of the Sullivan Group’s shares, but at least Elowen wouldn’t either. The outcome was still up in the air.
Later that evening, Amara returned to the film set.
The upcoming scene was crucial; it was a pivotal moment between Liliana and Lucian, marking a small but significant twist in the plot.

His words brought laughter from many on set, and Liliana looked visibly uncomfortable.
Everyone could see Lucian was acting with a chip on his shoulder, and it was clearly directed at Liliana. It was bizarre. Did he have a grudge against her?
“Take ten, everyone! We’ll reshoot!” Cedric barked, and the crew dispersed for a break. Amara found a small stool and sat down, reviewing her notes from the last scene.
Ten minutes flew by, and as Cedric gathered everyone for another take, the studio doors swung open, and Finnian walked in. His presence drew everyone’s attention.
It wasn’t unusual for an investor to visit the set, but Finnian’s visits were clearly more about seeing Liliana, and everyone was used to it.
However, after the recent events, whenever Finnian showed up, people would intentionally glance at Amara, as they were doing now.
